Fawkes and I were already members of Functional Fitness for the Active Dog but jumped at the chance for an agility-specific conditioning course; Agility Fit! Carolyn’s exercise modules are so well explained, with different videos and instructions for each exercise level and include ways to progress and modify. Of course, The coaches and Carolyn are so helpful in the Facebook community and the other members! There is a real sense of community, encouragement, and accountability. Most notably, regarding the difference Agility Fit! made for Fawkes, I have noticed that he can wrap wings tighter due to the work on Collection and Flexibility. He also has increased muscle tone and power on his hind end from the Plyometric and Power exercises that are included throughout the course.

My dog, Kermit, was selected for the prestigious World Agility Open, and knowing that the courses at this big event would demand so much more from her than we see at local trials, I knew I needed to find a program tailored to the physical demands. Agility Fit! was the answer. This course was easy to follow and gave us targeted exercises to improve our power (important since Kermit was being asked to jump 10” instead of her regular height of 8”), better balance and coordination, and exercises specifically designed to improve her ability to collect, cardio to handle the demands of a five-day event on HUGE courses, and improved flexibility and strength which paid off everywhere on the course.

This course was the missing link in our agility training routine. I owe it to my dogs to provide optimal health and injury prevention and detect areas of weakness when asking them to participate in this sport I love. This course offers a well-rounded whole-body workout with each new module, and a huge bonus is noticeably improved impulse control and my working relationship with my dogs. The demo videos, downloads, and Zoom calls provide excellent education, instruction, and progression for any learning style. Agility Fit! is fun and chock full of unique gems.
